Objection: I can get OS Giken [directly from Japan/from Store X] for cheaper
Short answer: You get what you pay for. Any OS Giken items that are not purchased through authorized channels will not be eligible for technical support or service through Toyota Tsusho America or its authorized distribution network. If a price through an authorized distributor is advertised below our established MAP, please notify Toyota Tsusho America immediately so we can take appropriate action.

Objection: [brand X] makes the same stuff for half the price as OS Giken

OS Giken clutches are designed as a clutch/flywheel package to minimize any limitations set by the original OEM design. Additionally, the OS clutch and flywheel are matched to each other, to assure the best fitment and performance. On top of that, the OS clutch design is unique, and the materials and manufacturing process used are the best available to ensure maximum performance and durability. OS Giken LSDfs utilize a patented design; the internals have been miniaturized to allow fitment for more plates, and the pressure ring design allows for a smooth and progressive locking force, all the way to 100% lock. (no other clutch-type LSD is capable of this) Components are precision machined to extremely tight tolerances, eliminating any need for break-in, gears are raw-forged and the case is heat-treated for maximum durability. Also, since the SuperLock is capable of 100% lock, heat generation is minimized. No heat generated means minimal wear on components, and that is one reason why no OS Giken SuperLock has ever needed to be rebuilt in its 8 year history of production.

Objection: I donft race my car so I donft need OS Giken parts
